The mythology of Varanasi
What is it?
Varanasiis supposed to be the heavenly abode of the Hindu gods Lord Shiva and Parvati. The city is mentioned in the Maharashtra’s as well as supposed to being about 3000-4000 years old.
How can I reach there?
All international flights go to India from where you’ll have to contact a local tour operator to get a connection to Varanasi.

What can I see there?
Varanasi has a huge number of sites like temples, the bathing ghats as well as other sundry other places which a local tour guide can show you. For example, Kashi Vishwanath Temple is a temple devoted to the Lord Vishwanath. It is also famous for its mile high gold covered spire. Sarnath is also famous for its Buddhist connections.
